What would you like to know more about the material?

What I would like to know more about the material is when the Internet was invented. When was the idea thought of and who thought of it? Was it in the mid 90's or the late 90's? I understand that it has helped the world a lot in many different ways but what are some things about the Internet that effect the world? I've used the Internet many times in my life and at certain times it has helped with a lot of difficult situations with my homework's and things with school, but at the same time pop ups and viruses tend to happen which ends up messing up my computer. Are there any other things about the Internet that is more useful and helpful and are there any other things with the Internet that are more dangerous and effective?

  1. The Internet started to be thought of back in the 60's by a US government agency called ARPA, Advanced Research Projects Agency, which was started by President Eisenhower 9although he had nothing to do with the science of it). Scientists needed to communicate with each in different parts of the country and needed access to each other's computing power. It wasn't until 1989 that tim Berners-Lee thought up the WWW. Maybe I will cover this material in class. Good questions.
