Yes, I did have a need for information in today's lesson. Today we researched on people getting fooled into false advertisements about attraction sites. I learned that many people use the web to find tourist attraction sites for vacation and many people make decisions over the web without talking to someone who has experience or profession on where families or friends want to go to for thier vacation. People who are getting ready to spend money on the basis of the web information should, of course, approach their decisions with at least as much skepticism as they would use about a purchase off line. http://www.nytimes.com/library/tech/99/03/circuits/articles/04trut.html are links that are trying to drive you to a false attraction and that is one way people try to steel your money. Therefore, todays lesson taught me to always be careful on what I buy on the Internet and when I plan on going somewhere for vacation and it involves a lot of money, I know to look more into it by talking to someone about it.
Actually, the New York Times article was not trying to fool you but rather talking about how a couple was fooled by a fake website. The article itself wasn't fake.
